The pros to selling a phone in Dallas are that there are many ways and locations to sell a smartphone in Dallas.  The first way is to contact Cell phone Buyers Recyclers.

Our company offers fast cash for iPhones Samsung and most other models on the market. We can pay cash for devices with chipped or cracked screens and iCloud and other software issues as well.

Another way is to simply ask people you know that are connected to you or related to you about selling your phone.  This is an easy way. Co-workers, family members, associates are all alternatives as well when considering selling your phone. There are also many mediums and methods to selling your phone.  Marketplaces on various apps such as facebook are accessible to most everyone who has anything to sell within their individual policies. Lastly you could sell your phone back to your carrier when you are ready to upgrade during new releases of smartphones.

Another Pro to selling your smartphone in Dallas is the proximity and convenience the seller has to various locations.  There are many places which will accept your phone whether you are central to Dallas or further out in the suburbs. Most likely, you will be only a short journey away from getting cash for your device.

Dallas is also a very family oriented city, so you should experience helpful, friendly people who have the same interests in obtaining a phone and extending the life of the device.  In bigger markets such as Dallas, the market place is large enough to accommodate you in a safe and convenient manner.

The cons of selling a phone in Dallas would only be that there are many businesses who may not accept the type of phone that you are looking to sell. Factors such as carrier (service) condition, financial status, and other factors could significantly increase or decrease the value of your device. The good news is CellphoneBuyersRecyclers accepts all phones within policy.

You know comparisons don’t work when the items are completely the same or they are completely different

Sometimes it feels like you are between the devil and the deep blue sea and both are really just the same when you think of the outcomes. This may be the general reaction when you compare iPhone 8 plus with iPhone X. Though they are of different brands, they do have a lot of similarities. Apple does not make it easy either. Releasing two different brands as opposed to two sizes of the same brand took things to a whole new level. Let’s take a look at some features.

iphone 8 Battery life

If you’re the type that loves to have your phone on at all times, the battery life of iPhone 8 is much longer with video streaming and online internet use. It has wireless charging and of course a fast charge with up to 50 percent in just one hour. So iPhone 8 plus has about 21 hours talk time, 13 hour’s internet use, 14 hour’s video playback and 60 hours of audio playback. It is not so different from the iPhone X which has 12 hour’s internet use and 13 hours of video playback.

iphone 8 Camera

People mostly buy phones for their picture quality and the camera. So iPhone 8 Plus has a dual-camera lens on the back with optical image stabilization. This is probably the only difference it has with the iPhone X which has dual image optimization on both lenses. It is a 12-megapixel camera with flash and portrait lighting among other features. The iPhone 8 Plus also has a 7 megapixel facetime camera in front.

Performance

When it comes to their performance, you should not necessarily expect them to be worlds apart since they have the same processor being Apple. Both brands have engines which allow artificial intelligence processing on the phone. On the whole, they are both similar in their performance.

Display

One of the ways to spot the difference between the two products is the screen display. While iPhone 8 plus has a home button on the chin with a bezel, the iPhone X has none of these which creates a perfect illusion. So it has a much larger screen display than the iPhone 8 plus.

iphone 8 Price

Without further ado, you’d know that the iPhone X is the most expensive as it is the newest brand. It is Apple’s iPhone that cost a thousand dollars unapologetically. However, being that it shares a lot of similarities with the iPhone 8 plus, you could say that the iPhone 8 plus is good for its price. It is also easier to find the latter than the former.

Making a choice as to which one to buy can be a futile act seeing they are much alike, however, if you have a budget to work with and are coming from a background of iPhone 6, you should probably get an iPhone 8 plus. Because nothing beats the satisfaction that accompanies a proud and worthwhile decision.

What is blacklisting or bad IMEI? By definition, according to the dictionary, it is something that “should be avoided and unacceptable.”

In the smartphone, cellular, and wireless industry, blacklisting is a widely used term to describe and categorize a smartphone’s relationship to wireless carriers and it’s potential to access wireless service and signal.  Blacklisting is also referred to as a phone having a bad imei.

Often people confuse a blacklisted iPhone as being locked. This is not necessarily true. FRP/Icloud/Google/Samsung locked phones are independent of carrier restrictions.  These are physical locks on the smartphone/device and in the manufacturers system or cloud. The relationship between the wireless carrier and manufacturer is independent of one another. Even though a device could be locked and blacklisted simultaneously, these are two separate things and have to be dealt with separately.  Your phone itself is not blacklisted. This is why it could still be used for basic internet usage over wifi and its basic functions outside of calling and mms texting through the carrier.

Basically the serial number or IMEI within your phone is blacklisted, meaning no US carriers such as At&T, T-mobile, Sprint will not allow service to the particular phone’s imei or serial number. This can be caused by several factors such as unpaid bill when phones are financed and also devices being reported lost and stole and filed on insurance claims. blacklisted iphone

Often time when phones are blacklisted the own has no use for the device because it cannot be activated in the US And look to sell the phone for cash.

A few things you must keep in mind if you find yourself in this situation is that a blacklisted iPhone is typical worth about 70% Less then it would be if the same device was not blacklisted. The reason being is that typical the phone are only good for parts and can never be used in the us on any of the major carriers. As always, contact us for all of your smartphone needs. We appreciate your business.  Have a great week!

Your phone is carrier locked when the original carrier is the only service/ signal your phone is capable of receiving

Your phone in and of itself may have the ability to be carrier unlocked and compatible with other wireless networks, but wireless companies such as Sprint, Verizon, T Mobile, Metro PCS, and AT&T, to name a few, sell locked phones so that its customers are locked into the service they originally purchased along with the smartphone or device.

https://www.cellunlocks.net/iphone-carrier-checker/

Wireless carriers do not manufacture or create phones such as Samsung or Apple.  They benefit very marginally from the phone sale itself.

Their interest is the service they sell which is carried and accessed via the smartphone tablet or other device that they may offer to their customers.   Therefore, certain terms and standards often have to be met in order for them to grand the unlocking of their issued or sold smartphone or device. These terms include but are not limited to the full payment of the device rendered to the wireless company.

A minimum period of time the service must be active, the phone being in good standing and not reported lost or claimed on insurance. After these terms are met, often the carrier will release an unlock code, or unlock your phone through the apple server.  There are many other types of locks as well, FRP lock, Screen Lock, icloud, etc which we will also cover at a later time. There are also other ways via third party to unlock and bypass each of the above locks. Just keep in mind if your looking to sell your device in the near future there is usually a price difference in what the device is worth if it unlocked or locked to a carrier. As always, contact us for all of your smartphone needs. We appreciate your business.  Have a great week!

iPhone Xr Review.

At last, we get to have an iPhone with a decent battery!. The iPhone XR is no doubt the most competent of all the iPhones launched in 2018 . while it deferred the last of its trio in 2018, it created some round or mystery about it, the iPhone XR has proven to be a marketing masterstroke for Apple.

The XR is quite cheaper when compared to the XS and XS Max, it was termed ‘2018s cheap iPhone’ because of this. By ‘cheap’, we mean $749,£749,AU$1,229.This seems more favorable when compared with $999.£999, AU$1,629 of the XS duo. To an average and price-conscious Apple fan, this price is awesome.

For the Apple fans who prefer this brand, the XR offers a much cheaper way to get a 2018 model without getting to pay the exorbitant prices of other iPhone models, while having less to lose in feature terms. The aim of Apple in launching this mystery iPhone XR is quite uncertain, well Apple has pulled its way to the top by launching late, as the XR is one of the best, if not the best iPhones ever launched.

iPhone XR Price And Release Date.

The XR price is definitely something that will attract buyers from far and wide. The 64GB XR model goes for – $749,£749,AU$1229, the 128GB model goes for – $799,£799,AU$1299, the 256GB model goes for – $899,£899,AU$1479.This is extremely more affordable than iPhone XS.

You can now purchase this brand of iPhone from all over the globe because it was released on the 28th of October, 2018. Available at your local phone shop and Apple stores. The price hasn’t changed much, and it’s been around for almost a year now.

New Features?.

When placed side by side with iPhone XS, the XR is being degraded in some ways to meet the lesser price rate. Although there are key similarities like the IOS 12 operating system, and the A12 powerful, bionic chipset back up, that is right inside. This top-notch model has the same sensors, selfie cameras and dual speakers with the XS. For someone who isn’t holding these two phones, telling the difference will be quite difficult.

Although having striking similarities, there are still differences that you’ll get to know in this piece.

Single Camera.

The iPhone XS camera is arguably very impressive, and it’s one significant feature it has over iPhone X. While iPhone XR and XS have the same standard lens, the XR lacks the telephoto second sensor, this means you can’t zoom in so far with it. The XR telephoto lens gives relatively good photography with two times zoom, while the portrait mode, the blurry background isn’t that effective, this doesn’t mean you can’t take attractive portrait shots with a blurred background and subject focus. But, you can’t take pictures of objects and animals in the same way, unlike the XS. This is because the software in XR can’t easily spot those objects with a single sensor, while the more expensive XS has additional hardware that can draw more focus.

Liquid Retina Screen.

iPhone XR comes with a new type of LCD screen, it’s basically designed to allow it to make this curved, all-screen display. It’s more like the previous LCD screens made by Apple that are sharp and colorful.

Introduced at the special 10th year anniversary event of Apple, which held on September 12, 2017, at Steve Jobs Theatre, the iPhone X became one of the most sought after and highly prized smartphones in the world.

As tagged by Tim Cook (The CEO of Apple) as “the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone”, and “The best iPhone ever” by reviewers, the iPhone X has given other smartphone devices a run for their money, with its unique and incomparable qualities and features.

Features Of The iPhone X

DESIGN

The iPhone X’s design is one of the reasons every smartphone user is rooting for the iPhone X. Designed solely for the purpose of the anniversary, the iPhone X is designed in an all-glass aluminum body, and it comes in both Space Gray and Silver pearlescent colors.

DISPLAY AND SCREEN

Featuring a 5.8″ inch OLED screen, which includes a Super Retina HD display. The iPhone X’s screen is the largest screen of all iPhone smartphones, courtesy of its edge to edge screen display and 2436 x 1125 resolution/458 pixels per inch, which helps to bring the displayed images and videos to life.

The best part of the iPhone X’s screen is that it enables facial recognition with the aid of a dual-core neural engine built into the A11 Bionic chip.

This facial recognition system works perfectly with the aid of an infrared camera technology, which makes it possible and easier for the user to unlock their phone’s screen in the dark, and with any accessories such as hats and glasses.

RAM

The iPhone X features a 3GB Ram storage with more than enough space for the user’s files and applications.

NO HOME BUTTON

Due to the edge to edge design of the iPhone X screen, the iPhone X is devoid of a home page. In order to get to the App Switcher, all you need to do is swipe the screen upwards and access the apps.

CAMERA

The iPhone X features a dual-lens 12-megapixel rear camera, which makes it possible for the user to take amazing and sharp images and videos.

ANIMOJI

Also known as animated, 3D emoji characters, Animojis are emoji customized using the user’s facial gestures and voice.

The iPhone X is the first phone to feature Emojis.

BLUETOOTH AND WI-FI

The iPhone X features the Bluetooth 5.0 which offers a longer, broader, and faster connection with other Bluetooth connections.

The iPhone X features WIFI 802.11ac with MIMO. And it covers a maximum of 866Mb/s.

Why Should I Buy An iPhone X?

One of the perks of owning an iPhone X is that you don’t have to bother with charging cables and cords. iPhone X charging is via Qi inductive wireless charging, where all you need to do is place your iPhone X on the charging mat or close to any Qi charging accessories, and voila! your phone is charging.

The battery life is another reason why you should purchase an iPhone X. With the aid of the A11 Bionic chip, the battery of the iPhone X lasts longer.

With a 2,716 mAh battery, the iPhone X user can enjoy 21 hours of calling, 12 hours of surfing the web, 13 hours of videos, and 60 hours of playing audio files.

In addition, you don’t have to wait forever before your iPhone X is fully charged. Your iPhone X is capable of reaching 50 percent battery life in thirty minutes.

The icing on the cake for folks who would like to purchase the iPhone X is that the iPhone X is susceptible to water and dust. Which means that no matter the quantity of dust or liquid, your iPhone is safe. Isn’t that amazing?

It is undoubtedly true that the iPhone X is one of the best creations of Apple, and we know you can’t wait to lay your hands on an iPhone X.

Although Apple has discontinued sales of the iPhone X, there is good news for anyone who wants to purchase one. You can get one at Cell Phone Buyers Recyclers, the perfect store for quality phones and accessories.

Apple launched it’s newest iPhone XS Max about 8 months ago and it came with all these amazing features and specifications, just how we like it. If you’re an avid iPhone user,  then you will definitely fall in love with this beauty.

The iPhone XS Max is the biggest phone created by Apples. It’s  6.5 inch huge screen is quite an intimidating device in the hands plus it is a welcomed development for lovers of movies and for game playing.

The iPhone xs max is not just dominating in size but also in price. The prices varies according to its storage capacity. The 64GB iPhone XS Max model goes for $1,099. while the 256GB model goes for  $1,249. If you want a bigger internal storage then you might consider the most expensive 512GB iPhone XS Max model which goes for a whopping $1,449! Quite the price to pay.

The 512GB IPHONE XS Max model price puts it in a league of its own as the most expensive smart phone. The question is; are you willing to pay that much for your dream phone ?

Like all phones, xs max has it’s disadvantages.  The iPhone XS Max has the same design with iPhone X but a bit bigger. It has subtle rounded sides which makes it visibly thick. The outcome is that it doesn’t get to sit as comfortably as it should in your hands. This is no jokes as you would want your phone well placed in your hands considering the cost and size.

A comparison with Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (6.4-inch screen), OnePlus 6T (6.41-inch) and Sony Xperia XZ3 (6-inch), shows that  the xs max felt thicker, and less comfortable to hold than all of them. The iPhone XS Max is actually thinner than these phones but the difference is that they were tapered at the rear  edges giving them a thinner look which allows the users to hold them a bit more comfortably.

The XS Max is the best iPhone as it comes  with a bit more protection. The new glass on its front and rear is tougher than what’s at iPhone X while it’s water and dust resistance has been highly enhanced.

There has also been significant improvement on its liquid protection which has been increased to IP68. The effect is that it enables it to remain intact if submersed in a depth of two meters for 30 minutes. It also provides protection to various other liquids like wine , beer, salt water  milk, chlorinated water and so on. However, it is not advisable to consciously expose the phone to the above mentioned liquids because Apple’s warranty like most phones does not cover damages made by liquids. That means that if a damage is done to your phone due to exposure to water or any liquid, the iPhone XS Max warranty will not be applicable to it.

The new iPhone does not have headphone jack but you get a centralized speaker and microphone holes on the base of the iPhone. The iPhone XS Max supports wireless charging which allows you to multi task on various devices.

There is also ease in operating the XS Max as the lock/power button is located on the right side which makes it easy to navigate with the thumb or forefinger while  the volume keys are located on the left side of the phone, directly below the mute button. The SIM tray is below this key but is now dual enabled.

The newest iPhone XS Max  is by far the best iPhone manufactured. If you can go past the price and it’s uncomfortable physical features then you’re in for an amazing phone time.

It was easier buying a smartphone many years ago. All you needed to do was to visit your carrier branch, and after picking a phone of your choice, you pay some upfront payment and then sign a contract with them.  But today, many carriers no longer make use or the contracts and subsidized phone deals.

Today, even if you buy a phone which is locked to a carrier or unlocked there really is no difference.

So if you go to a store and you pick out the phone which you want to buy, let us look at some things you have to consider before selecting a carrier or an unlocked phone.

Ensure that the phone is compatible with your network

These days many new phone devices support all kinds of carrier brands.  In the past, Verizon networks were CDMA, and T-Mobile worked on GSM networks. It is important that you are sure that your unlocked phone would be compatible with the network of your choice by looking at the specs it works with under network brands. But with a carrier network that is not a problem because the phones they make use of phones which are compatible with only their network.

Let us take a look at people who an unlocked phone appeals to and those who a carrier phone appeals to.

People who need an unlocked phone

Early adopters

Some people want to have the new device as soon as it hits the market. Such kind of people should go for an unlocked phone.  You should be able to pay for it up front, and you do not need any carrier deals to make use of it. Many early adopters do not mind as all they have in mind is having this device before anyone else.

Bargain Lovers

There are many phone makers who provide unlocked phones at a relatively low price. These phones are cheap because such phone makers do not have a need to bargain with carriers. This money which they save can be passed on to the customers, making it cheap for them to buy.

Upgrade lovers

People who buy unlocked phones find it easier to upgrade whenever a new one comes because they can resell their current phone and buy a new one without any stress.

Frequent travelers

An unlocked phone would make you swap your network carrier sim effortlessly as you visit the network of various countries.

People who buy a carrier phone

If you want to pay for a phone in installments.

If you are looking for a deal with a phone brand, it is best to go through a carrier.  Many of the carrier providers offer amazing discounts to motivate you to buy from them. Most unlocked phones would ask you to pay fully for the phone rather than in installments which a carrier network prides.

The good part about buying a carrier phone is that after your full payment,  you can request that it is unlocked after you have fully paid for it.

What you should do

Research the phone options and availability. You can buy an unlocked phone from a good number of retailers. But if you want a carrier phone, you have to be sure that it is available in the device you want.

Check thoroughly to be sure if your unlocked phone would also work with your carrier plan you are using.  Check if it supports 3G or 4G networks or any carriers you would like.
